Arcoprofil
is specialized in producing cold splined shafts with “GROB machines”
and boasts a twenty-year experience in this industrial sector. Our
company, whose owners are the brothers Roberto and Giorgio Casolin, is
operating in a 5000 mq establishment of family property, located in the
industrial area of Santorso, in the province of Vicenza, at approx. 90 km
distance from Venice.
In the last years Arcoprofil has concentrated its
production in two sectors:
1) Production of shafts for brushcutters (world leader in producing this
parts);
2) Production of axle-shafts (a sector which is greatly expanding);
Arcoprofil has two complete production lines, (one for brushcutters and the other for
axle-shafts) to begin with the cutting of row material and the heat
treatment to the finishing of the parts. The company have the latest
technology concerning induction and furnace heat treatments and the control of
finished parts in order to guarantee high quality to the customer. We can offer 3 different technologies
to produce splines: Grob rolling system, Felss axial forming (for internal and external splines) and CNC
Hobbing process.
Arcoprofil is a factory with 70 employees working in three shifts. In the year
2007
the total shaft production has been of about 1,3 Mio. pcs, 1,0 Mio. driveshafts
for brushcutters and 0,3 Mio. for axle-shafts. Arcoprofil exports 90% of the
turnover of 10 Mio. Euro.
